Privacy Policy
Operator: Rulta OÜ ("Rulta", "we", "us"), the company behind DMCA.ai. Contact: [email protected]. Effective date: 7 July 2026.
Short version: DMCA.ai has no user accounts, runs no analytics or advertising, sets no tracking cookies, and does not sell or share your data. The tools on this site run entirely in your browser. We built it this way on purpose.
What we collect
Almost nothing. DMCA.ai does not ask you to create an account or sign in. We do not run analytics, advertising, fingerprinting, or third-party tracking scripts. We do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
Information stored only on your device
Two features save small amounts of data locally in your browser using localStorage. This is not a cookie and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. It stays on your device until you clear it.
- Theme preference. Your choice of light or dark mode is remembered so the site looks the same on your next visit.
- Notice generator drafts. When you use the DMCA notice generator, the details you type (such as your name, email, a description of your work, and the URLs you enter) are saved locally so that filing another notice later takes seconds. These details are assembled into a notice inside your browser. They are never sent to our servers. You can erase them at any time with the "Clear saved details" button in the generator, or by clearing your browser storage for this site.
Server logs
Our hosting and content-delivery providers keep standard server logs when a page is requested. These logs can include your IP address, browser user-agent, the page requested, and a timestamp. They are used only to operate and secure the site (for example, to serve pages, prevent abuse, and diagnose errors), are retained for a limited period, and are not used to build advertising or behavioural profiles.
Cookies
DMCA.ai does not set cookies for ordinary visitors. For detail, see our Cookie Policy.
Contacting us
If you email [email protected], we will have whatever information you choose to include in your message. We use it only to respond to you.
Third parties
We rely on infrastructure providers (hosting, and a content-delivery and security provider) that process request metadata such as IP address in order to deliver and protect the site. We welcome AI assistants and search engines to index our public pages, which is the purpose of the site; anything published on DMCA.ai is public by design.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR, including rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Because we do not maintain accounts and hold essentially no personal data about visitors, most of these rights have little to act on, but you are welcome to contact [email protected] with any request or question and we will respond.
Children
DMCA.ai is not directed to children and is not intended for use by anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page.
